KW-NT3HDT Review from stickysidedown
Switched from Pioneer. Won’t go back
I am loving this in dash navigation. It starts up very quickly and is ready to
go after 10-20 seconds. The touch screen is fast and responsive. The navigation is spot on even in cloudy environments and through tunnels (where
my pioneer failed). The branded POI icons are pretty cool to, makes it easy to
figure out where the next gas station or fast food stop is on a road trip,
without having to do a POI search. The HD radio and traffic updates in the San Francisco bay area are flawless. I
have it hooked up to my Droid and it works quick with album art. If I am lazy
and don’t want to get the cord out then the bluetooth audio works with the droid
perfectly. Bluetooth phone works great as well. The detachable face is great especially if you are in a city.
The one thing that has surprised me the most is the sound quality is superior to
the Pioneer I had previously. I am not sure if the EQ is setup better or what,
but it sounds like I have upgraded my speakers with this receiver. The only knock I have on it is the forward facing USB connection. I would prefer
a rearward facing USB connection as well as the front facing for a cleaner look.
